One destination/Many destinations:
Once you enter your resort, there you are. You are in Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic or whatever one country you chose to visit. When you embark your cruise ship, that is just the beginning. Now you set sail on your floating resort for a number of exotic destinations. The average seven day cruise will have you visiting between 3 and 5 entirely different places. You could find yourself in Mexico on day and the Cayman Islands the next day.
If you have set sail on an Eastern Caribbean cruise then you could see St. Thomas one day then Tortola and the Turks and Caicos islands all in a few days. Do not worry, you will be given lots of time to see each of these places, the ships often wait at port for 12- 14 hours.
However...please remember, if you are late, the ship will leave without you. You will then be responsible for making it to your next port of call on your own.
